overload exercising at a level thats beyond your regular daily acitvities
progression graddually increasing the demands on your body
warm-up gentle cardiovascular avtivity that prepares the muscles for work
cool-down low-level activity that prepares your body to prepare for a resting state
workout the part of an exercise session when you are exercising at your highest peak
resting heart rate the number of times your heart beats per minutes when you are not active
frostbite damage to the skin and tissues caused by extreme cold
hy pothermia dangerously low body tempature
overexertion overworking the body
heat exhaustion a form of physical stress on the body caused by overheating
heatstroke a dangerous condition in which the body loses its ability to cool itself through perspiration
muscle cramps sudden and sometimes painful contraction of the muscles
strains overstretching and tearing a muscle
sprains injuries to the ligaments around a point
