Emotional Abuse Repeatedly criticizing, humiliating, or manipulating someone's emotions to gain control
Sexual Abuse Pressuring or forcing someone into sexual activities without their consent
Technological Abuse Involves controlling or harassing someone using digital means like phones or social media
Verbal Abuse Repeatedly belittling, shaming or verbally attacking someone
Gaslighting Using manipulation to makes someone doubt their own reality or memory
Physical Abuse Harming someone physically through hitting, slapping or other violence
Coercion Pressuring, intimidating, or threatening someone to do something against their will
Consent Someone has freely agreed to participate in an activity, and they can change their mind at any time.
Financial Abuse Can involve preventing someone from accessing their own money or getting a job
Hazing Typically occurs in a group context. Humiliating, degrading of endangering behavior, Happens regardless of an individual's willingness to participate.
Technological Abuse Stalking, harassing, or monitoring someone's online activity without their concent
Isolation A healthy way of spending time together alone in a relationship
