Saturated fats (meats and other animal-based foods) are associated with: An increased risk of cardiovascular disease.
MyPlate is: The visual representation of the USDA Food Patterns/Pyramid
What is the largest section of MyPlate? Vegetables
Mediterranean-style eating pattern: This diet reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, and may reduce the risk for cognitive decline and Alzheimer's disease.
The Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans state: Adults should engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity a week. Muscle strengthening exercise 2 or more days a week.
