| Assertive | Behaving with confidence and clearly stating your intentions |
| Relaxation | The state of being free from tension and anxiety |
| Decision Making | The process of making a choice or finding a solution |
| Empathy | The ability to understand and share another person's feelings |
| Healthful Behaviors | Promotes health, prevents injury and premature death and improves the quality of the environment |
| S.M.A.R.T | Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timely |
| Heredity | Passing traits from parents to children |
| Environment | The sum total of a person's surroundings. |
| Passive | A tendency to give up, give in, or back down |
| Aggressive | Overly forceful, pushy, hostile, or otherwise attacking in approach |
| Stress | Stress occurs when the pressure on us exceed out ability to cope |
| Distress | Negative Stress- extreme anxiety, sorrow, or pain |
| Eustress | A positive stress- that energizes a person and helps a person reach a goal |
| Stressor | Anything that causes you stress |
| Coping | Ways of dealing with the sense of stress and lose |
| Depression | A state of constantly feeling sad |
| Anxiety | The condition of feeling uneasy or worried about what may happen |
