overdose taking more of a medication or drug than the body can process at one time
OTC medications medicines people can purchase without a doctor's prescription to treat the symptoms of many minor health conditions
prescription medications medicines the people can only purchase with a doctor's order for the treatment of a specific illness or condition
rehabilitation treatment for substance use disorder that may involve detoxification, medications, or time spent in a rehabilitation faciltiy
relaspe occurrence when a person takes a medication or drug again after deciding to stop
side effect unpleasant and unwanted symptom that occurs from taking a medication
Performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) drugs taken to improve strength, speed, and stamina, these drugs have many health risks
