steroid hormones comes from the adrenal cortex
androgens hormones that influence development and maintenance of male sex characteristics, for example, facial hair, deep voice
islets of Langerhans of the pancreas endocrine tissue within the pancreas, secretes insulin and glucagon.
parathyroid hormone (PTH) this regulates calcium and phosphorus metabolism
melatonin associated with the control of sleep and wake cycle.
hypophysis pituitary gland
thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) hormone that stimulate secretion from thyroid gland
follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) hormone for growth of ovarian follicle; stimulates secretions of estrogen in females and production of sperm in males
melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH) affects skin pigmentation
antidiuretic hormone (ADH) released by the posterior pituitary that influences the absorption of water by kidney tubules. aka: vasopressin
oxytocin causes labor contraction
thymosin regulates immune response
calcitonin regulates calcium and phosphorus metabolism
hypophysectomy removal of the pituitary gland
continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII)/ insulin pump therapy insulin device on the body and infuses doses of insulin according to the persons needs.

hormone replacement therapy (HRT) treatment with a hormone to correct a hormonal deficiency
