epididymitis inflammation of the epididymis
episiotomy surgical incision of the perineum to facilitate the delivery of an infant and to prevent tissues from tearing
galactorrhea production of breast milk in women not breastfeeding
hysterectomy surgical removal of the uterus
hysterosalpingography radiological examination of the uterus and fallopian tubes following the introduction of radiographic matter
hysteroscopy direct visual examination of the internal uterus and fallopian tubes
mastalgia breast pain (AKA mastodynia)
mastopexy surgical procedure to fix sagging breasts into a more elevated position
nullipara woman who has never borne a viable child
oophorectomy surgical removal of one or both ovaries
orchidectomy surgical removal of one or both testicles
orchiopexy endoscopic surgery to move undescended testicle into the scrotum
preeclampsia complication of pregnancy characterized by HTN, edema, and proteinuria
primigravida woman during her first pregnancy
primipara woman who has borne one viable child
pruritus vulvae severe itching of the external female genitalia
salpingo-oophorectomy surgical removal of fallopian tube and an ovary

oligomenorrhea Infrequent or very light menstruation in a woman with previously normal periods.
pelvic inflammatory disease Any inflammation of the female reproductive organs not associated with surgery or pregnancy.
placenta previa The abnormal implantation of the placenta in the lower portion of the uterus.
