| colostrum | specialized form of milk that delivers essential nutrients and antibodies in a form that newborns can digest |
| colpopexy | surgical fixation of the prolapsed vagina to surrounding structures |
| dysmenorrhea | pain caused by uterine cramps during menstruation |
| colposcopy | direct visual examination of the tissues of the cervix and vagina |
| ectopic pregnancy | condition in which a fertilized egg implants and begins to develop outside the uterus |
| endometriosis | condition in which patches of endometrium tissue escape the uterus and attach to other structures |
| epididymitis | inflammation of the epididymis |
| episiotomy | surgical incision of the perineum to facilitate the delivery of an infant and to prevent tissues from tearing |
| galactorrhea | production of breast milk in women not breastfeeding |

| hysterosalpingography | radiological examination of the uterus and fallopian tubes following the introduction of radiographic matter |
