Family History influence on diseases Genetics, what diseases that your family passes down to you/Hereditary
Lyme Disease A bacterial disease transmitted by the bite of an infected deer tick. It is a from bacteria.
influenza It is a viral infection that affects the respiratory system
Cancer, Diabetes, and Heart Disease Examples of Non-communicable diseases
antibodies Protein that is produced by lymphocytes and that attaches to a specific antigen; Specialized proteins that aid in destroying infectious agent; Proteins that help destroy pathogens
cross contamination The spreading of bacteria or other pathogens from one food to another . ie chicken and Pork. Using gloves when handling these foods are recommended.
direct Contact Pathogens that pass from person to person by ...ie hand shaking.
pink eye Infectious form of conjunctivitis caused by bacteria or virus, happens on the edge of the eye.
