Concealers | Thick, heavy types of foundation used to hide imperfections such as dark circles dark splotches and other imperfections |
Contour | Creates a shadow over an area, minimizing features |
Cool Colors | Colors dominated by blues, greens, violets, and blue reds |
Eye Makeup Removers | Oil based solutions that help to break down heavy makeup |
Eye Shadows | Applied to eyelids to accentuate or contour |
Eyebrow Color | Used to enhance and shape the brows |
Eyelash Adhesive | Used to make artificial eyelashes stick to the natural lash line |
Eyeliner | Used to outline and emphasize the eyes |
Face Powder | Used to create a matte finish on the face; sets liquid products on the face |
Ferrule | Metal part of the brush that attaches the glued bristles to the handle |
Foundation | Base makeup, tinted cosmetic used to cover or even out the coloring the skin |
Greasepaint | Used for theatrical purposes |
Highlight | Emphasizes features; used on the high points of the face |
Individual lashes | Applied at the base of the lashes for a customized look |
Line of Demarcation | Obvious line where the foundation begins and ends |
Lip Color | Used to change or enhance the lip color |
Lip Liner | Used to outline the lips to keep the color from bleeding |
Mascara | Cosmetic used to darken, define, and thicken the lashes |
Matte | Not shiny |
Primer | Applied before foundation to even out the canvas of skin |
Strip Lashes | Eyelashes with a band that are applied to the natural lash line |
