Aggregates Groups within a population
Community Health Assessment Getting to know and understand the community client as partner
Global Health A field of study, research, and practice that places a priority on improving health and achieving equity in health for all people world wide
Secondary Prevention Activities that seek to detect a disease early in its progression before clinical s/s become apparent
Subpopulations Aggregates within the larger populations
Tertiary Prevention Activities that begin once the disease is obvious; the goal are to interrupt the course of the disease
Primary Prevention A type of intervention or activity that seeks to prevent the occurrence of a disease or a injury
Primary Care The first contact between individuals and the health care system and usually refers to the curative treatment of disease, rehabilitation, and preventive measures
