QuestionAnswer
What is muscular strength? The maximum force that can be generated by a muscle or group of muscles in one singular contraction.
What is muscular endurance? The ability of a muscle or group of muscles to repeatedly exert force against resistance.
What is Flexibility? The quality of bending easily without breaking.
What is agility? The ability to move quickly and easily.
What is balance? An even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady.
What is Coordination The organization of the different elements of a complex body or activity so as to enable them to work together effectively.
What is Power? Physical strength and force exerted by something or someone.
What is reaction time? The interval of time between the application of a stimulus and the first indication of a response.
what are Lifestyle activities a lifestyle that contributes positively to physical, mental and social wellbeing, and includes regular exercise and physical activity.
What are anabolic steroids? A synthetic steroid hormone that resembles testosterone in promoting the growth of muscle.
What is creatine? A compound formed in protein metabolism and present in much living tissue. It is involved in the supply of energy for muscular contraction
What is physical activity? Physical activity is any body movement that works your muscles and requires more energy than resting.
What is crossFit? A fitness program that uses strength and endurance training for short, high-intensity workouts.
What is cardiorespiratory endurance? A measurement of how well your heart, lungs and muscles work together to keep your body active over an extended period of time.
