Aerobic Energy

Energy source stored in muscles used when we exercise ATP
A bi-product produced aerobically H2O
A bi-product produced aerobically we breathe out CO2
When ATP breaks down due to energy production we get ADP+ P
The T in ATP stands for ? and how many phosphates? Tri which is 3 phosphates
The D in ADP stands for ? and how many phosphates? Di which is 2 phosphates
We want to work aerobically because There are no bad waste products and we can produce lots more ATP
If we can't work aerobically we get our energy aer________ aerobically
The P in ATP and ADP stands for phosphate
When we work aerobically what is produced but breaks down with the oxygen we breathe in? Lactic Acid
When we work anaerobically we produce __ which stays in our muscles and makes them sore? Lactic Acid
We want to work aerobically in the duathlon because.. It is the most efficient energy system over a long period of time
