Alcoholism | A disease in which a person is physically and mentally dependent on alcohol. |
Binge Drinking | Drinking a large amount of alcohol in a short amount of time. |
Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) | Birth defects that occur to the unborn baby if a pregnant woman drinks. |
Hangover | The uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms that occur after drinking alcohol. |
Withdrawal | The way the body responds when a drug is no longer used. |
Good Samaritan Law | A law that protects people who try to help another person. |
Cirrhosis | Disease of the liver caused by alcohol abuse. |
