1. Respect showing regard for the feelings, wishes, rights, or traditions of others
2. Uniqueness a person’s expression of individuality
3. Personal Relationships the connection you have with those close to you
4. Individuality the quality or character of a particular person or thing that distinguishes them from others
5. Criticism the expression of disapproval of someone or something based on perceived faults or mistakes
6. Friendship special type of relationship between people who enjoy being together
7. Adult Mentors trusted adults such as parents, guardians, other relatives, ministers, or youth leaders
8. Role Model a person whose success or behavior serves as a good example for others
9. Peer Pressure the influence that people your age may have on you
10. Bullying Bullying is repeated exposure, over time, to negative actions from one or more other students. Negative actions can include physical, verbal or indirect actions that are intended to inflect injury or discomfort upon another.
11. Violence The use of physical force to harm someone or something
12. Mediation a process in which a trusted person helps to settle a conflict
13. Mediator a person who helps two sides solve a problem reasonable
14. Compromise Each side gives up something to reach an agreeable solution
15. Negotiation The process of talking about a conflict and deciding how to reach a compromise
16. Conflict disagreement between two or more people
17. Respect having high regard for others
18. Refusal Skills ways of saying “No!”
19. Assertive Behavior making your wants and needs known in a positive, active manner
20. Aggressive Inclined to act in a hostile manner
21. Passive accepting without objection or resistance
