QuestionAnswer
Conflict? Any clash of ideas or interests.
Resources? Something you use.
Values? Something important to you and your family (beliefs.)
Body Language? Communication that is done with gestures or facial expressions.
Active Listening? Hearing and responding to what is being said.
Negotiation? The act of discussing the issues of a conflict to reach an agreement.
Compromise? A solution to a conflict in which each side gives up something in order to reach an agreement.
Collaboration? A solution in which both sides work together to get what they want.
Mediation? A neutral third person listens to both sides to try to help resolve a conflict.
Peer Mediation? Someone close to your age, acts as a mediator.
Intimidation? The act of frightening others through the use of threatening words or body language.
Bully? A person who is constantly harassing or picking on the same person.
Sibling Rivalry? Competition between brother and sister.
Tolerance? Respect other people's opinions and beliefs.
Aggression? Any act or behavior that is hostile or threatening to another person.
Violence? Physical force used to cause damage or injury.
Emotions? Feelings.
Neutrality? Not taking sides.
Confidentiality? Keeping things secret.
Possessions? Something you own.
