Conflict

| Conflict | Any clash of ideas or interests. |
| Resources | Something you use. |
| Values | Things important to you and your family (beliefs). |
| Body Language | Communication that is done with gestures or facial expressions. |
| Active Listening | Hearing and responding to what is being said. |
| Negotiation | The act of discussing the issues of a conflict to reach an agreement. |
| Compromise | A solution to a conflict in which each side give up something in order to reach an agreement. |
| Collaboration | A solution in which both sides work together to get what they want. |
| Mediation | A neutral third person listens to both sides to try to help resolve a conflict. |
| Peer Mediation | Someone close to your age acts as a mediator. |
| Intimidation | The act of frightening others through the use of threatening words or body language. |
| Bully | Someone who constantly picks on or beats up others. |
| Sibling Rivalry | Competition between brothers and sisters. |
| Tolerance | Respect other peoples opinions and beliefs. |
| Aggression | Any action or behavior that is hostile or threatening to another person. |
| Violence | Physical force used to cause damage or injury. |

| Neutrality | Not taking sides. |
| Confidentiality | Keeping things secret. |
| Possessions | Something you own. |
