What does the heart do? Beats over 35 million times a year.
Where is the heart located? It is located in the center of the chest with a slight lean to the left.
How big is the heart? An adult heart is about the size of their 2 fists put together.
What kind of force does the heart use? It takes the amount of force it takes someone to squeeze a tennis ball.
How many chambers does the heart have? 4
What does blue represent? Oxygen with poor blood
Whats red represent? Oxygen with rich blood
What color is the right atrium and ventricle? Blue
What color is the left atrium and venticle? Red
Where does oxygen poor blood travel? From the body to the right atrium
Where is the blood pumped? It is pumped to the lungs to pick up oxygen
Once the oxygen is picked up where does it come back too? The heart through the left atrium down to the left vetricle.
Where is this blood pummped too? The boody and heart tissue
