What should you do if the person seems alert? | You should ask them questions to determined what happend. |
What should you do if the person is verbal? | Ask the same questions as alert. Stay with them to make sure they don't get worse. |
If the person registers as pain you should? | Ask bystander what happend. Be prepared to give the person care if they go unconcious. |
How would you apply pain to the person? | Sternum rub. Earlobe pinch. Nial- bed pinch. |
If the person is unresponsive what should you do? | Call 9-1-1 immediatley. Check their ABC's. Give CPR if there is no breathing. |
What does ABC stand for? | Airway. Breathing. Circulation. |
To open the airway what do you do? | Use the head tilt chin lift technique. |
How do you do the head tilt chin lift technique? | Put hand on forehead and the fingers under the chin. then lift the head where the chin is pointing straight up to the ceiling. |
What does the held tilt chin lift technique do? | Moves tongue away from the back of the throat. |
How long do you look and listen when trying to see if the person is breathing? | No longer than 10 seconds. |
How do you position yourself when checking if the person is breathing? | You put ear close to their mouth and you face their chest to see if its rising or not. |
What is a agonal breath? | It's the bodies last attempt to get air in. |

What do you do if you find a person unconcious laying face down? | You roll them face up so you can check there ABC's. |

How do you roll someone? | Rols towards you. Arm closes to you put up. In underhanded grip support neck. Other hand opposite hip. Roll slowly and put head down gently. |
When do you put a person in the recovery position? | If they vomit or if you have to leave them |
How do you put a person in the recovery position? | Roll away from you. Arm furthest away from you put up by their head. Prop up knee closes to you before you roll them. Make sure mouth is facing down so vomit exists. |
