What do you do if the person is registers as alert? Ask the person what happened, What is wrong, what they are allergic to, and what medical conditions they have.
What do you do if the person registers as verbal? Ask the person what happened, what is wrong, what are they allergic to, and what medical conidtions do they have.
Waht do you do if the person registers as pain? Call 9-1-1 immediately, ask bystanders for more inormation about what happened, and monitor the person and be prepared to give care if they go unconscious.
How do you ally to pain? Sternum Rub (Knuckle to chest), Earlobe pinch, Nail bed pinch.
What do you do if the person registers as unresponsive? Call 9-1-1, Check their ABC's, and give CPR if there is no breathing.
What does ABC stand for? A-Airway B-Breathing C-Circulation
What do you do if the persons airway is blocked? Use the head lift, chin lift technique.
What do you do to see if the are breathing? Look, Listen, and Feel for breathing for no more than 10 seconds.
What is it called when it is the bodys last attempt to breath? Agonal Breath
What does it man when you check for a pulse? Circulation
What do you do if someone is facing downward? Roll them over so you can check their ABC's
What are the spine parts in order from top to bottom? Cervical (Crazy), Thoracic (Things), Lumbar (Leave), Sacrum (Scars)
Whta er the top causes of Spinal injuries? Car wrecks, Falls, Violence, and Sports injuries
What poistion do you put the person in if they are going to vomit? Recovery position
What does GO DR SHAVPU. G(Gloves), O(O), D(Danger), R(Response), S(Scene), H(History), A(Alert), V(Verbal), P(Pain), U(Unresponsive)
