Waht do you do if the person registers as pain? | Call 9-1-1 immediately, ask bystanders for more inormation about what happened, and monitor the person and be prepared to give care if they go unconscious. |
How do you ally to pain? | Sternum Rub (Knuckle to chest), Earlobe pinch, Nail bed pinch. |
What do you do if the person registers as unresponsive? | Call 9-1-1, Check their ABC's, and give CPR if there is no breathing. |
What does ABC stand for? | A-Airway B-Breathing C-Circulation |
What do you do if the persons airway is blocked? | Use the head lift, chin lift technique. |
What do you do to see if the are breathing? | Look, Listen, and Feel for breathing for no more than 10 seconds. |
What is it called when it is the bodys last attempt to breath? | Agonal Breath |
What does it man when you check for a pulse? | Circulation |
What do you do if someone is facing downward? | Roll them over so you can check their ABC's |
