What are the applying pains? 1) Sternum Rub 2) Earlobe pinch 3) Nail-bed pinch
What are the three ABC's? A- Airway B-Breathing C-Circulation
How do you check there airway? Hold there head back and put two fingers under there chin.
How do you check there breathing? Look,Listen and feel for breathing for no more than ten seconds.Ear and cheek down to their nose and mouth to listen and feel.Keep eyes looking at their chest to see if it rises and falls.
What does agonal breathing sound like? It will sound like a suden gasp for air.
What are the four sections the spine is divided in? Cervical,Thoracic,Lumbar,Sacrum, Coccyx
What are the top four injuries? 1.Falls 2.Car wrecks 3.Violence 4.Sports injuries
How do you roll someone? 1.Roll the person towards you 2.Put the arm closest to you up 3.Support the neck with your hand in an underhanded grip 4.The other hand on their opposite hip. 5.Roll slowly and lay down their head gently.
What do you do if they vomit and if you have to leave them? You have to do the recovery position
What do you have to remember about the recovery position? 1.Roll them away from you 2.Put the arm furthest away from you up by their head 3.Prop up the knee closest to you before rolling. 4.Make sure their mouth is faced down so the vomit exits. *putting their arm up supports their head once you roll them.
