| What are some signs for choking?? | Coughing Forcefully or holding/pointing at their throat. |
| What are the 3 steps you do when you know someone is choking?? | 1)Tell them to keep coughing 2)Have someone call 9-1-1 3)Stay with them. |
| Why do you tell them to keep coughing? | Because they may be able to the cough obect up on their own. And when they are coughing they are still getting air at that point. |
| Why would you call 9-1-1 when someone is choking?? | Even when they are coughing and getting air, they may stop breathing at one point. And they have damaged their airway from what they were choking on. |
| What does Respiratory Distress mean? | When someone is not getting ANY air. |
