| Step-4 | Experiment-In order to test your hypothesis yyou need to develop and follow a procedure. A detailed materials list should be included |
| Step-5 | Collect and analyze results-during this step you will review and modify the procedure if needed. |
| Step-6 | Conclusion-After looking at your data information from your experiment make a conclusion. You may make recommendations for futher study and improvments |
| Step-7 | Communicate results-Scientists share their results with a variety of people throughout the process. Can be done at any stage, not always at the end. |
| procedure | the step by step instructions that tell how an experiment is done. needs to be clear so that another scientist can repeat your eperiment |
| constants | The factors that stay the same in the experiment. Important to have so you know what made the change or caused the outcome. (in a experiment) |
| Dependent Variable | the variable that May change as a result of your experiment. The scientist does NOT purposely change it. |
