Predominant cells seen in estrus. 90% superficial cells (Bacteria present)
Predominant cells seen in diestrus. Sudden decrease of superficial cells, along with intermediate and parabasal cells
Predominant cells seen in anestrus. Parabasal and intermediate cells.
Additional cells present during Proestrus. RBCs +/- and WBCs +/-
Additional cells present during Estrus. RBC +/-
Additional cells present during Diestrus. RBCs +/-

Stage when the the bitch is attracted to the male but wont stand for mating. Proestrus
