Inclusion Bodies, Distribution Patterns

Basophilic Stippling | Presence of fine/coarse small dark blue granules in RBC. |
Howell Jolly Bodies | Round, densely staining purple granules in RBCs; remnants of nucleus. Non-refractile. |
Heinz Bodies | Invisible RBC in Diff-Quik stain. May resemble a bite cell. NMB used to see actual inclusion., |
Rouleaux | RBCs arranged in a stacked or rolled coin appearance. |
Agglutination | RBCs irregularly clumped together; abnormal distribution pattern. |
