Normal RBC Morph.

Size, Color, Shape

QuestionAnswer
Normocytic RBC's that are normal in size (for that species) in diameter.
Macrocytic Large RBC's
Microcytic Small RBC's
Anisocytic General term indicating INCREASED variation in size of RBC.
Normochromic Normal in color.
Hypochromic RBCs with a large central pallor; decreased hemoglobin content.
Polychomasia RBCs that are bigger with a bluish tint. Indicative of young cells.
