| how do you treat dehydration? | IV fluid replacement |

| what is the cause of hypovolemia? | shock, trauma, hemorrhage, profuse vomiting/diarrhea |
| what are the signs of a patient with hypovolemia? | tachycardia, prolonged CRT, weak pulse, hypotension |
| how do you treat hypovolemia? | IV fluids or transfusion, identify and address the underlying cause |
