Hip Joint | b/w femur & pelvis allowing femur head to connect to acebulum creating a ball & socket joint |
Femur | holds body weiht, stabilizes body Distal Femur: makes the top of knee hinge joint connecting to tibula |
Patella (knee cap) | part of stifle (knee joint) motifys direction of quads |
Stifle joint (knee joint) | joins 3 bones --> tibia, patella, femur |
Fabellae | sesamoid bone assist medical fermoral condyle stabilization & faella complex works with patella for knee movement |
Tibia | largest synovial joint for body movement |
Fibula | muscle attachment for collateral ligament & tarsal joints Tibula + Fiblua = ankle joint stablize through leverage |
Tarsals | make up dog ankle, provide mobility to foot joined together through intertarsal joint |
Metatarsals | design to absrob force, muscle attachment |
MTP & IP (Metatarsophalangeal & Interphalangeal) | joints located @ each hinglimb |
Phalanges | toes joins with metatarsal/metacarpals to create digits with interphalageal hoint b/w Distal phalanx: houses claws |
