Trapezius (two parts) ORIGIN - pars cervicalis = cervical vertebrae, pars thoracica = thoracic vertebrae INSERTION - spine of scapula ACTION - elevate and draw limb cranially/abduction, rotate scapula FORM - flat triangular shape POSITION - deep to skin
Rhomboideus ORIGIN - pars thoracic = spinous processes T4-T6/7 pars cervicalis = spinous processes C2-3, pars capitus = nucal crest of occiput on skill INSERTION = dorsal border/caudal angle scapula ACTION - elevate limb, draw scapula to body
