| What is the advantages of catheterization? | good for culture and sensitivity |
| What is the disadventages of catheterization? | sterile technique, sedation required, possible RBC and WBC, diffecult in females |
| What is the advantages of cysotcentesis? | good for culture and sensivitity, no distal urethra contamination |
| What is the disadvantages of cysotcentesis? | invasive, increased skill level, can rupture bladder, occasional RBC, need calm animal |
