Analgesia Pain relief
Arrhythmia Any abnormal pattern of electric activity in the heart

Capillary refill time the time it takes for the capillarys to fill after being displaced by finger pressure

Closed suction drain drain that uses vacuum bottles and plastic containers to draw fluid away from a wound
D`ebridement decontaminating the wound from foreign debris
Decubital ulcer Pressure sore that is caused by an animal laying on side to long.
Dyspena difficult breathing
Eschar necrotic layer of tissue that slough off
Euthanasia the act of ending a patients life in a humane manner
Hyperthermia increased body temperature over the normal body temperature.
hypothermia Decreased body temperature

Tachycarida abnormally fast heart rate
Tenesmus straining to defacate
Steror having snoring or gasping
stridor high pitched wheezing caused by a disturbed airway
Pulse defict the absence of palpable pulse waves in a peripheral artery for one or more heart beats
