Why is the infection restricted to the URT? DOESN'T MULTIPLY IN MACROPHAGES! Damage to tracheal epithelium results in secondary bacT infection
Uncomplicated signs? Dry, hacking cough, with a fever and serous nasal discharge that can last for 3-14 days
