| 1. Health | a combination of physical, mental/emotional, and social well-being. |
| 2. Wellness | a state of well-being or total health |
| 3. Habit | a pattern of behavior that you follow almost without thinking. |
| 4. Consumer | someone who buys products or services. |
| 5. Advertisement | a message designed to influence consumers to buy a product or service. |
| 6. Target audience | a group of people for which a product is intended |
| 7. Fraud | a calculated effort to trick or fool others |
| 8. Endorsement | a statement of approval |
| 9. Infomercials | Long television commercials whose main purpose seems to be to present information rather than to sell a product |
| 10. Body Image | how you view your body |
| 11. Eating Disorder | extreme eating behavior that can seriously damage the body. |
| 12. Anorexia Nervosa | an emotional disorder characterized by an obsessive desire to lose weight by refusing to eat |
| 13. Bulimia | an eating disorder in which a large quantity of food is consumed in a short period of time followed by depression and self-induced vomiting, purging, or fasting. |
| 14. Serving Size | the amount of food or drink that is generally served |
| 15. Body Mass Index | Body mass index is defined as the individual's body mass divided by the square of his or her height. |
| 16. Heredity | the process by which biological parents pass traits to their children. |
| 17. Environment | the sum total of your surroundings |
| 18. Environmental Influences | the physical, social, and cultural conditions affecting the individual's growth and development |
| 19. Culture | the collected beliefs, customs, and behaviors of a group |
| 20. Peers | your friends and other people in your age group |
| 21. Volunteerism | the use or involvement of volunteer labor, esp. in community services., without getting paid |
| 22. Community | the people of a district or country considered collectively, esp. in the context of social values and responsibilities; society |
| 23. Common Identify | having similar interests and goals |
| 24. Leadership | the ability to combine knowledge of self and others to achieve a common goal; leaders model responsible behavior, take risks, and are tolerant of other’s opinions |
| 25. Social Wellness | having the ability to interact successfully with people and one's personal environment. |
| 26. Physical Wellness | The ability to carry out daily tasks, develop cardiorespiratory and muscular fitness. |
| 27. Emotional Wellness | the ability to control stress and to express emotions appropriately and comfortably |
| 28. Intellectual Wellness | the ability to learn and use information effectively for personal, family, and career development. |
| 29. Environmental Wellness | the ability to promote health measures that prove the standard of living and quality of life in the community, including laws and agencies that safeguard the physical environment. |
| 30. Spiritual Wellness | the meaning and direction in life and enables you to grow, learn, and meet new challenges. |
| 31. Occupational Wellness | comprises aspects of wellness that help achieve a balance between work and leisure in a way that promotes health and a sense of personal satisfaction. |
| 32. Financial wellness | Financial wellness is having an understanding of your financial situation and taking care of it in such a way that you’re prepared for financial changes. Living within your means |
