7. Adult Mentors – 7..trusted adults such as parents, guardians, other relatives, ministers, or youth leaders
8. Role Model 8.. a person whose success or behavior serves as a good example for others
9. Peer Pressure – 9. – the influence that people your age may have on you
10. Bullying- 10.-- is repeated exposure, over time, to negative actions from one or more other students. Negative actions can include physical, verbal or indirect actions that are intended to inflect injury or discomfort upon another.
11. Violence – 11. – The use of physical force to harm someone or something
12. Mediation -- 12.- a process in which a trusted person helps to settle a conflict
13. Mediator -- 13.a person who helps two sides solve a problem reasonably
14.Compromise- 14.– Each side gives up something to reach an agreeable solution
15. Negotiation -- 15. the process of talking about a conflict and deciding how to reach a compromise
16. Conflict- 16. disagreement between two or more people
17. Respect – 17. having high regard for others
18. Refusal Skills – 18. ways of saying “No!”
19. Assertive Behavior-- 19. making your wants and needs known in a positive, active manner
20. Aggressive -- 20. -- inclined to act in a hostile manner
21. Passive-- 21. - accepting without objection or resistance
