Instructions - Clean Catch; Step 1 Label the clean catch specimen container with; Name and ID, Date/Time, Physicians Name, Your siganture
Instructions - Clean Catch; Step 2 Remove lid from urine specimen container WITHOUT touching the inside of the container or lid
Instructions - Clean Catch; Step 3 Place the specimen container lid upside down on a flat surface
Instructions - Clean Catch; Step 4 Open one of the antispetic packets and wipe the left side of the urethral meatus (opening)
Instructions - Clean Catch; Step 5 Open a second antiseptic packet and wipe right side of the urethral os (opening)
Instructions - Clean Catch; Step 6 Open a third antispetic packet and wipe the middle or the urethral os (opening)
Instructions - Clean Catch; Step 7 Begin urination
Instructions - Clean Catch; Step 8 Stop urinating after emptying half of the urine from the bladder
Instructions - Clean Catch; Step 9 Collect the urine sample from the second hlf of urine remaining in the bladder.
