QuestionAnswer
What does the skeletal system include? Bones, bone marrow, joints, cartilage, ligaments, and tendons.
What does the muscular system include? Muscles and connective tissue
What do bones do? Support/protect, aid in movement, form blood cells, store and release minerals, hardest tissue in body
Meniscus Curved fibrous cartilage found in some joints
What does ligaments connect? Bone to bone
What do tendons connect? Bone to muscle
Bursa Sac that cushions in an area of friction
What does the muscular system do? Locomotion, control of organs/tissues, pump blood, and generate heat.
Fascia Sheet of fibrous tissue that covers, supports, and seperates muscles
