Great Schism | Division in the Roman Catholic Church, during which rival popes were established in Rome and Avignon |
Black Death | Deadly disease that spread across Asia and Europe in the mid-14th century killing millions of people and bringing an end to serfdom in Europe |
Hundred Years War | Conflict in which England and France from 1337 to 1453 fought over control of the French throne, it ended up strengthening royal power and bringing and end to feudalism. |
