Subcutaneous Sites | Common sites include center third of the lateral aspect of the upper arm, the abdomen, and center third of the anterior thigh. |
Intradermal Administration | Frequently administered to children, but technique differs little from the method used with adults. Avoid the medial side of the arm when giving injection into the volar surface of forearm (more sensitive, hurts more) Use TB syringe and 30 gauge needle |
