People and Organizations in the Middle East

| Kadima | Centrist/Liberal Israeli political party. Wants to remove Israeli settlements from Occupied Territories and create 2 states: Israel and Palestine. Supports dialogue with Palestinians. |
| AIPAC | Wants to strengthen ties between Israel and the US, works with democrats, republicans, and independents to enact public policy to strengthen US-Israel relationship. |
| National Union | An alliance of nationalist political parties in Israel. In particular it supports the settlement of all the land of Israel, the use of military power against Palestinians. Arabs self rule in the West Bank, also supports religious state. |
| Peace Now | Wants two states: Israel and Palestine. Willing to give up Israeli land to establish peace. |
| Meretz | Create bonds between American and Israeli Jews to strengthen Israel and Zionism. |
| J-Street | Wants American diplomats to create a 2-State solution, with peace. |

| Israeli Labor Party | A Zionist political party, they want an all jewish state of Israel, use extensive settlement and military force (only when necessary), and want limited Palestinian rule in occupied territories. |
| Likud Bloc | A Jewish Israeli political party. They want only one secular state. They are willing to use military enforcements, don’t like Palestinians at all. |
| Ultra-Orthodox | They are very religious Jews. They want Israel ruled by a religious party with God's Law. They follow traditional ways and want others to do the same. |
| Hamas | They are a Islamic resistance. They used to be violent, now they provide humanitarian services for refugees. Their goal is to take back Palestine and make an Islamic state. |
| Refugees | Live in refugee camps in the Occupied Territories. Famous for throwing rocks and they want their own homeland. They use the camps as a symbol of just a temporary home and that they will return in the future. |
