| Allvial plain | a flood plain such as the indo-gangetic plain in south Asia on which flooding rivershave deposited rich soil |
| Monsoon | a seasonal wind that brings warm, moist air from the oceans in summer and cold, dry air from inland in winter |
| Cyclone | a storm with heavy rains and high winds that blow in a circular pattern around an area of low atmospheric pressure (a hurricane) |
| Megalopolis | a "super-city" that is made up of several large and small citties such as the area between Boston and D.C. |
| Reincarnation | the act of idea of being reborn, repatedly in different forms untill one has overcome earthly desires. (Hindu belief) |
