In the 1300's attitudes changed, people looked for new ways to explain the why an how of their world & cnetered on revival of Classical learning of Greece & Rome. What was this movement called? Renaissance
Renaissance is a French word meaning what? Rebirth
There was a hugh flood in Florence, Italy from the Amo River in 1966 & people from all over the world came to help, Why? Florece contained the World's greatest collection of Renaissance Art & Literature.
What led to the Italian Renaissance? A change in attitude centered on a revival of interest in Classical learning of Greece & Rome.
The term "Rebirth" was not used until the 1500's. There were many other metaphors used before that term, name some? 1) Revival, 2) Restoration, 3) Awakening, 4) Reflowering, & 5) Return to Light
The Renaissance was a time of many developments, name a few of these? 1)Printing Press, 2) Advances in Science 3) Emphasis on Reason
