QuestionAnswer
How did we get the Ten Commandments? God gave the rules to Jewish people through Moses.
What does the Ten Commandments help us with? They are to help us get to heaven and nto to opress us here on earth.
The Beatitudes are the perfection of... Ten Commandments
What do the beatitudes say? Be humble, thrist for justice, don't be satisfied with good enough, keep your heart and mind pure, mourn the sin of the world that separates people from God, be poor in spirit, not concerned with this world, but the next.
The First Commandment says... Love God above all else. We should believe in, trust in, and love God more than any other thing in the world because verything else in because He is.
What is Faith? The knowledge if things unseen, the assurance of things hope for. Faith is concerned with those things that the intellect cannnot understand and witht things that cannot be proven by science,
Example of Faith.. suffering, death, trinity, the Eucharist.
What is Hope? the habit of relying on God's mercy. It is a trust in God's promise of heaven and in His help to get there.
What are the two sins against Hope? Despair-a lack of hope; presumption-where a person does not belief enough in God justice.
What is Charity? the habit of loving God and loving others for God's sake.
what is the worse sin against God? Hatred of God.
what is the virtue of religion? the habit of offering to God the praise, honor, and worship that He deserves.
What type of examples goes against the virtue? superstition, magic, or Satnic worship.
