What were the 7 sacraments Jesus establish? Baptism, Confirmation, Confession or Reconciliation, Eucharist or First Communion, Marriage, Holy Orders, and Last Rites or Anointing of the Sick.
What does every Sacrament have? Form,words we say. Matter,substance.(can't change these two) Minister, who preforms the Sacrament.
What does every sacrament give us and why? Every sacrament brings us grace because God wants us to go to heaven and be w/ Him forever.
What is Sanctifying Grace? God living in our souls need it to get to heaven. We could lose it by committing a mortal sin.
What is Actual Grace? Sort of a backup grace. Need more to avoid sinning or to
Who created Baptism? Christ, when he told the Apostles to go and Baptize the nations.
Form? Words we say for each sacrament.
Matter? Substance we use in each sacrament.
Minister? Ordinary, Priest. Extraordinary, any Baptized person who has the intention to it.
Purpose? To bring a person into Gods family. Washes away Original sin and give us graces.
What is Noah's ark a symbol of? Baptism that Jesus would establish. They would use water.
At baptism what do we do? We die to our old Sinful ways and born again into a member of Gods family.
What happens at baptism? it leaves an indelible mark. Or mark that God put there to show we are one of his people.
What does Baptism do? It gets rid of Original Sin
What is Concupiscence Temptation to Sin.
What will a person have at Baptism? A Sponsor, Probably a Godparent. you can pick your own.
