What was the result of the Franco-Prussian War? Germany states were united and the nation of Germany was formed. Frances lost the provinces of Alsace and Lorraine to Germany. Frances had to pay 5 billion francs in reoperations.
Extra Credit: Write a paragraph describing the factors for and against German Unification and why you think they worked for and against unification. I think Germany went against unification because they thought that they were powerful enough to take on anyone. I think they liked unification because sometimes they may need help so they will ask but not for a whole lot.
