Why did foreign countrie help Josheph Mobutu take power in the Congo in 1965? Because the foreign countries that controlled the congos mines and was afrid that the unrest would hurt there buisness's.
Why did Mobutu change the countrys name? its a word with traditional african roots
Why did most of Mobutus attempts to [rove the countrys economy fail? Many kept much of Zairs wealth for themselves
What factors led to the collapse of the countrys economy in the mid 1970's? The world price for copper fell sharpley and he could not pay back all the money he owed
What caused Mobutu to fled out of the country? A rebellion started against his government
Why did the second rebellion occur in 1998? Monthes went by without promised reterms
