The Ka'aba had over 360 idols. Who where these idols brought by? the clans of people who came to Mecca during the holy month.

What religions were happening around 570 AD when Muhammad was born? Jewish, Christianity, and polytheistic religions
What kind of family was Muhammad born into? a powerful Meccan family
At the age of 25 Muhammad became what? a trader
Muhammad took great interest and care for what? religion
At age 40, what happened to Muhammad? He heard a voice calling to him in a cave outside Mecca one night while meditating. It was the voice of the angel Gabriel, saying there is only one God.
After Muhammad heard the voice, what did he start telling and teaching people? That there is only one God, and that all other gods must be abandoned.
What ere people who believed and followed Muhammad's ways called? Muslims
What does Islam mean? "Submission to the will of Allah"
What was a beginning fear or Meccan's when Muhammad first stated speaking about God in public? The people where scared the religion and its ideas would lead to the neglect of their traditional Arab gods.
What is the Hijrah? The migration from Mecca to Yathrib by Muhammad and his followers.
Why did Muhammad and his followers leave Mecca? Because some of Muhammad's followers had been attacked.
Muhammad also became a what during the growing hostilities between Mecca and Medina? A military leader
IN 630 Muhammad and 10,000 of his followers marched where? into Mecca
What did Muhammad and his thousands of followers do in Mecca? They destroyed all the idols in the Ka'aba and then call worship from its roof.
What did Muhammad accomplish during the raid of Mecca? he converted almost all of Islam
What is the Dome of the Rock? The Dome of the Rock is an Islamic church located in Jerusalem
What are The Five Pillars? Faith, prayer, Alms, fasting, and pilgrimage
What do The Five Pillars mean to Muslims? they are the five duties a Muslim has to carry out in order to be a Muslim
What is a mosque? an Islamic house of worship
What does hajj mean? pilgrimage to Mecca
What is the Qur'an? the holy book of the Muslims
What is the Sunna? Muhammad's example
What is the shari'a? a body of law that the Sunna was assembled in
