Who replaced the Assyrian empire? In 609 B.C. the Assyrian Empire fell by two of its enemies, the Medes and the Chaldeans.
What was the capital of the Assyria Empire? Nineveh
Who was called the New Babylonina? The Chaldanes,the city of Babylon became their capital. Babylon was the capital of the first Babylonian Empire
Who ruled Chaldanes during its peak of power? Nebuchadnezzar II from 605 to 562 B.C.
Who conquered The Chaldanes lands? Cyrus of Persia
Why did The Chaldanes Empire fail? Weak rulers, internal conflicts about religion upset and divided them.
Summary The Assyrian military used new kinds of weapons, such as iron swords, iron-tipped spears,and batting rams. The military was capturing people. Assyrians had highly organized goverment controlled the conquered lands. The Chaldeans conquered Assyrian lands.
