Who was Quetzalcoatl? One of the most important Gods, god of Sky and weather.
Who was Moctezuma? The mighty Aztec emperor
What is New Spain? the name the Spanish gave Mexico after taking over the Aztec empire
Who was Hernan Cortes? A Spanish explorer who invaded Mexico in 1519 and defeated Moctezuma
What are chinampas? "floating beds" used by the Aztecs for farming
