Archaeology Study of humankind’s social and cultural past through material or physical remains, mainly artifacts
Artifacts Material remains/portable objects that show evidence of modification, manufacture and/or use by humans.
Manuports Objects that have almost no discernible evidence of human modification or manufacture, that were transported from their natural source and used by humans.
Ecofacts Non-artifactual remains which have cultural relevance and provide information about past human behavior
Geofacts Items made of stone that look like artifacts, but are really naturally occurring objects.
Features Non-portable entities that contain a combo of artifacts, ecofacts, and/or matrix. Represents remains of a limited human activity which took place in the past.
