| How did the intellectual achievements of the Classical World demonstrate how reason could be used to understand and improve their world? | this demonstrates that even though these civilizations had little resources to create ideas and philosophy, the entire society was based on intellectual achievement so they strove to do their best and make do with what was available. |
| How did the ideas and appeal of Judeo-Christian traditions contribute to its expansion throughout Europe and the Mediterranean? | It became a new religion for the poor and poverty-stricken that didn't require a temple, was a direct relationship with good, supports afterlife, and eventually helps put an end to the Roman Empire. |
| What legacy did the Classical World leave us? | The Classical World left a new standard for intellectual achievement that would push societies for years to come. The ideas of the time exist today, and make a large contribution to education as well as architecture, art, and literature. |
| How did the govt of the Roman Republic differ from the govt of the Roman Empire? | Republic= assembly, magistrates, senate, and ability to elect a dictator Empire= assemblies have really no power, magistrates are just honorary positions, Senate (made of 600) creates laws but really has little power, and emperor controls all |

| When did the Hellenistic Age take place? And why is it so important? | The Hellenistic age took place in 336 B.C.-30 B.C. It was so important because it was a time when math, science, art, and philosophy. Alexander the Great ruled in this time period, and the empire extended to India under his rule. |
