System Of The Body

Integumentary System Forms the external body covering. And protects deeper tissue from injury.
Skeletal System Protects and supports body systems. And provides a frame work the muscles uses to cause movement.
Muscular System Allows manipulation of the environment,locomotion, and facial expressions. Maintains posture and produces heat.
Nervous System As the fast acting control system of the body. It responds to internal and external changes by activating appropriate muscles and glands.
Endocrine System Glands secrete hormones that regulate processes such as growth.
Lymphatic System/Immunity Picks up fluid leaked from blood vessels and returns it to blood. Houses White Blood cells.
respiratory System Keeps blood constantly supplied with oxygen and removes carbon dioxide. (air sacs)
Digestive System Breaks down food in to absorbable units that enter the blood.
Urinary System Eliminates nitrogenous waste the body. Regulates.
Male reproductive system Overall function, production of off spring. Testes produce sperm.
Female reproductive system Ovaries produce eggs and female sex hormones.
